As you may already know Thursday is my last day of work at my current job…I have decided to crack down and get my degree by the end of May…This will hopefully allow me to get into grad school to obtain my licensure to be a social studies teacher…It might be tight financially around the household for the next year and a half (I still have to get licensed as a teacher as well)…

Good thing you don’t want to be a math teacher, cuz it’s going to be longer than 1.5 years. You’re looking at your last year of undergrad, then completing your licensing program, which will last anywhere from 10 months of intense, all-day classes to two years of night classes (kiss track night and dOPUS goodbye), and then completing your practicum before you even think about applying for your license. Plus, you’re going to have to pass that criminal background check, which, well, you know. Budget’s gonna be tight for a while, brotha…
